Couch to 5k Training


CHC supports healthy living and making healthy choices which is why beginning Tuesday, May 17 there will be training program taking place to teach the average person to get off the couch and run a 5k!

The program will run for eight weeks. There will be coaches available, two days a week, to work with and prepare participants for the CHC 5k Happy Heart Run that will take place on Saturday, July 9. Nutritional information will also be available through the program. Enter with friends or co-workers as a team to gain support and receive a group rate for the run. The Couch to 5k training is free to all participants.

Meetings are every Tuesday and Thursday at Heritage Park next to the soccer fields/dog park. Meetings begin at 5:30 p.m.
