PHARMACIST - Coldwater MI
Casual position available for a Registered Pharmacist.
JOB SUMMARY: As a member of the health care team this person provides the best pharmaceutical service possible to the patient through the most recent concepts of drug utilization and control which is the sum total of knowledge, understanding, judgment, procedures, skills, controls and ethics that assures optimal safety in the distribution and use of medications. This person performs various pharmaceutical duties such as: compounding and preparing medications for inpatients and outpatients, screening orders for appropriate dose, route, compatibilities and contraindications, and patient and staff education.
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE; CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE:
Graduation from an accredited School Of Pharmacy and licensure as a Registered Pharmacist in the state of Michigan.
The successful candidate will have to demonstrate competencies for this position.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS (AGE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS):
Must be aware of age requirements as it pertains to dosing of any pharmaceuticals used in the service
SPECIAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Considerable standing and walking.
